Dar as-Sunnah CH – A Non-Profit Organization Rooted in Zurich
We are one of the most active associations in German-speaking Switzerland and focus on the younger generation. In our community, brothers and sisters of different ages and diverse backgrounds come together. 🌍
Some of our activities from the past few months
📖 Free Quran Distribution in Various Languages
Since November 2024, we have distributed over 600 copies of the Quran – including 200 Arabic Mushafs, 100 Albanian translations, and over 200 German editions, as well as copies in other languages such as Spanish, French, and more.
🎓 Seminar with a scholar from jeddah KSA in January 25 (300+ Participants)
In January 2025, we were honored to host a renowned scholar (Shaykh Mahir al-Qahtani) who led a weekend seminar/lecture – with over 300 participants.
🏞️️ Regular Trips and Events for the General Public
Whether hikes, larger grill events, clothing drives for asylum seekers, or other activities – we continuously offer programs to involve the youth as well as non-mosque-goers and bring them closer to the Islamic community.

Over 50 participants enjoyed not only an inspiring lecture but also a rich barbecue buffet right in the heart of the city.

More than 30 people took part and enjoyed a day full of adventure and community in the natural beauty of Braunwald, Glarus, at an altitude of 1,900 meters.

During Ramadan 2023, we had the opportunity to hold several lectures in Volketswil the biggest Mosque in zurich.

Of course, we are grateful for all donations, whether small or large. However, monthly donations give us greater stability and the ability to plan ahead more effective.

Your donation is primarily used to fund the opening and ongoing maintenance of our centre.
Will I receive a donation receipt for my taxes?
We are currently in the process of obtaining approval to issue official donation receipts. Soon, we will be able to provide them for your tax purposes.
